LAN unveils the model of the wooden tower Wood'Up as part of Habiter Plus Habiter Mieux, an exhibition on new housing architectures presented from April 5 to September 2, 2018 at the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris.

Across Europe, a new generation of architecture practices are transforming affordable housing. The exhibition Social Housing captures some of the most innovative examples. Among them, Carré Lumière in Bègles. At the Center for Architecture in New York from February 15th.

Impressive demolding in Strasbourg, on the site of the Théâtre du Maillon. The anthracite gray tinted concrete corner sails, with large dimensions (14x14x5m) have been removed from a single lift.

LAN's very first competition, won in 2004. The building located on Boulevard de la Chapelle in Paris 18th, has been delivered in early March. The project hosts two programs: a care center and housing reintegration units.

By extension, Haussmann's name personifies a century of public works that still defines the urban organization of the city and the identity of the capital. After Paris and Chicago, Lisbon will host the exhibition Paris Haussmann, a Model's Relevance from March 6th to June 17th, 2018.

The #LightOn series is a programme of lectures curated and hosted by iGuzzini in Recanati and MAXXI museum in Roma. Umberto Napolitano has been invited on March 8th and 9th to talk about the relationships between architecture, form, technology and light.

LAN is moving this summer rue Popincourt in the 11th arrondissement into its new office. A heavy and suprising restructuring of a former parking lot converted into offices. Work in progress, see you at the opening !

After the Venice Biennale in 2016 and Agora Bordeaux in 2017, the large-scale model of Bègles / Carré Lumière is presented at the Condition Publique in Roubaix from March 30th to July 8th as part of the exhibition Habitarium.

Umberto Napolitano has given a lecture on Paris Haussmann at the AUT on 15 March 2018. Founded at the initiative of committed architects, the AUT association promotes architecture and stimulates debate. It is located in the former brewery Adambräu, a modernist industrial building of the Tyrolean architect Lois Welzenbacher.

For the second consecutive year, Umberto Napolitano is teaching at Columbia GSAPP University in New York. Final review of his Advanced Architecture Studio course entitled course "The Form of Density" will gather a jury of professional experts at the beginning of May.

Les Ateliers Nocturnes are informal workshops organized by the students of the Faculty of Architecture of Brussels. Ten years after the economic crisis of 2008, the Ateliers Nocturnes aim to take stock of the situation. Umberto Napolitano will be their guest on May 15th.

The ceremony for the laying of the first stone of the new Fire and Rescue Center of Rennes took place on April 19th. On this occasion, the prototype of the façade, an isolated premature stained in the mass, was unveiled.
