HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CRISIS!

Ten years after the economic crisis of 2008, the Ateliers Nocturnes aim to take stock of the current situation and re-question the abstract notion of crisis. Is this architectural expression part of a simple aesthetic trend or does it reflect a change of strategy, aimed at overcoming the constraints inherent in the context? From the societal scale to the project scale, the contemporary architect evolves in an environment that tests his sense of ethics. This is a call to become aware of the issues related to the crisis in the architectural environment, its practical but also elusive, to discuss together the limits and opportunities that such a context implies.
