A simple and easily readable apartment block oriented towards the street on a plot whose morphology and layout are highly restrictive while also offering a very rich architectural context and a large amount of different materials. The interplay between solids and voids, horizontals and verticals, light and shade, glass and blinds, result in elevations that are both restrained yet animated. The building makes full use of its corner position on the plot to clearly stand out from the surrounding buildings.
We considered a double architecture character for the plot and we applied this stance in every level of the project: from housing plans to façade drawings and material choices.
